Former Brentwood resident Beatriz Garcia Loredo passed away to be with Our Lord Jesus on July 6, 2012. She was born Aug. 23, 1940 in Santa Rosa Ranch in Sebastian, Texas to Rogelio and Antionia Garcia.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Pedro Sr.; her stepson, Pedro, Jr.; her parents, Rogelio and Antonia Garcia; sister, Fidela (Guadalupe) Torres; brother, Tedoro Garcia; and sister-in-law, Socorro.

Beatriz is survived by her daughters, Maria (Jermey) Melton and Dora Loredo; grandson, Alex Banks (whom they helped raise); stepdaughter, Juanita (Jose) Poblete; stepsons, Jorge (Youngae), Isidoro (Shirley) and Quirino (Betty); sisters, Mary Garcia of Harlingen, Texas; Adelaida (Woodford) Garcia of Sebastian/Harlingen, Texas; Angelita Garcia of Sebastian; Antonia (Pablo) of Round Rock, Texas; Libby (Bobby) Rincones of Lyford, Texas; her brothers, Ernesto (Mary) of Combes, Aniceto (Betty) of Sebastian and Albert (Pauline) of Harlingen; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nephews and niece.

Private services will be held at a later date.
