Far below left, participants of the second annual Bell Game Run take off from the Liberty High School track. The event attracted 65 participants ages 10 to 67, who ran the four-mile course from Liberty to Freedom. Fastest times were posted by Tommy Greenless, who finished in less than 20 minutes, and Andrew Kadavy – both from Walnut Creek. Proceeds from the event benefited both schools’ track and field programs.
