A car wash featuring the Warrior Girls cheerleaders will raise funds for the Brentwood-based International Orphan Relief Foundation’s (IORF) third annual effort to provide food baskets and children’s pajamas for the holidays in East County.

The fundraiser will be held this Saturday, August 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of Schooner’s Grille & Brewery at 4250 Lone Tree Way in Antioch. Fees for car washes will be by donation only.

Last year the IORF served almost 200 families in East County with both food baskets and children’s pajamas but had to turn away some families. They’re asking for help this year to meet the needs of 250 families.
