Chocoholics, wine lovers unite for kids

Lots of locals came out to support the Special Kids Foundation at the recent Wine and Chocolate event at Hanna Nicole Vineyards in Brentwood.

Supporters raised more than $11,000 for the foundation.

“The event was truly remarkable, and once again the East County community showed us that even in these challenging economic times they care deeply about the children facing every day of their lives with some kind of disability,” said Lisa McBride, founder and president of the Special Kids Foundation. “We are full of gratitude for their support.”
