EC Bears rumble through Manteca

The East County Bears took second place in a recent tournament at Manteca’s Big League Dreams – the Bears’ first tournament ever. The team comprises East County Little League players from Brentwood and Oakley.

The Bears started the tournament with a tough 5-0 loss to the AAA Titans from Santa Clara. They rebounded with an 11-1 victory over the Chico Aces, powered by Anthony Soto, Jared Davis and Jordan Mendes. In the championship game, the Bears came up short, losing to the Titans.
