Vietnam vets honored in special event

Patriots of the East Bay, represented by VFW; The American Legion; Military Families of Pleasanton, Antioch and Livermore; Blue Star Moms; Lafayette Flag Brigade; Warriors’ Watch Riders; the Livermore VA and many more, all of which have a heart for our service members and veterans, invite Vietnam veterans and their families to attend a Welcome Home and Thank You, Vietnam Veterans event Saturday, March 20 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Alameda County Fairgrounds’ Country Plaza Area in Pleasanton.

The event features live music, guest speakers, a Huey helicopter (compliments of the Concord Vet Center) and more. Parking is free and lunch will be served. Tables along a special Memory Lane will be provided for those who desire to bring materials to show other vets.
