Beverly (Betsy) Ann Cooper passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 13 at her home in Antioch. She was born in Millington, Tenn. and raised in Alameda.

Betsy married Frederick John Cooper 38 years ago, and as a Navy wife, immediately went on the road, moving to Newport, R.I.; Richmond; Pensacola, Fla.; Honolulu; El Paso, Texas; San Diego; and back to the San Francisco Bay Area, living in Newark and Fairfield, and finally settling down in Antioch.

Betsy and her family have lived in Antioch since 1998. She was exceptionally supportive of her husband and his 30-year naval career; her two daughters and her grandchildren. Her love of animals was phenomenal and her helping of family and friends was absolutely remarkable. She will be truly missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Betsy is survived by her husband, Frederick John Cooper of Antioch; children, Lisa Marie and Lillian Patricia (Trish); sisters, Carole, Regina, and Heidi; brother, Tony; nine wonderful grandchildren (Ana, Natalie, Rebekah, Cameron, Darla, Adriana, Kera, William and Christopher); and one great-grandson, (Juan) due in January of 2011.

A celebration of life service is pending. Visit Betsy’s complete obituary at www.bayareacremations.com.
