Donna Jeanne Bailes, 63, passed away peacefully Oct. 17, 2010 at Kaiser hospital in Sacramento.

Donna was born Oct. 8, 1947, in Oakland to the late James Jordan and Emma Peckham. She grew up in Walnut Creek and graduated from Pleasant Hill High School. Donna was a longtime resident of Antioch before retiring to Ione in 2006. Many residents will remember her as a employee at Video City and Joann Fabrics. She enjoyed sewing, making jewelry and scrapbooking. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Donna is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Terry Bailes of Ione; daughter, Loren Bailes of Ione; daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Michael Bell Jr. of Oakley; six grandchildren, Ashlyn Coray of El Dorado Hills, Courtney and Austin Oliver of Oakley, Jake Bailes of Ione, and Bryant and Dustyn Bell of Oakley; and many other loving family members and friends.

Donna was greatly loved and will be missed by her family and many friends.
