The Liberty Union High School District would like to thank the Starbucks store located at 8610 Brentwood Boulevard. On Thursday, July 28, our district held a staff development day at Heritage High School that consisted of content-specific professional development to over 300 teachers from throughout the district. Starbucks donated coffee and all condiments for the teachers.

We would also like to thank the variety of organizations that presented enriched material to district educators. Presenters not employed by the district included Bay Area Foreign Language Project, Center for Human Development, East Bay Biotechnology Education Program, Facing History and Ourselves, North East Bay Mathematics Collaborative, Red Cross Certification, UC Berkeley Bay Area Writing Project, and UC Berkeley History Social Science Project.

The Liberty Union High School District appreciated the efforts of those aforementioned. These professional groups, along with a team of persons employed by the district, helped ensure the success of the day.
