Life Scout Anthony Adams and Garin Elementary School Assistant Principal Elizabeth Ybarra admire one of the two benches made by Scouts of Troop 90 and installed at the school.

Anthony led the recent efforts of five Scouts and two adult leaders, who built two benches and two planter boxes for the fourth- and fifth-grade area. The project consumed nearly 80 hours of labor.

Monetary donations made by the Lions Club of Brentwood, the Knights of Columbus Council 7467, the Brentwood Kiwanis and materials provided by Brentwood Ace Hardware made this welcome addition to the school grounds possible.
