The Delta Patriots West Division had a near-perfect day in a recent clash with the Tracy Buccaneers. After the Starts West won 16-6 and the Rookies West secured a 13-7 victory, the Varsity West defeated its rivals 20-6.

Touchdowns by running backs Stephen Carter and Riley Condon propelled the team on offense, while defensive lineman Jacob Snyder and linebacker Santiago Ramirez helped keep the Bucs out of the end zone for the majority of the game.

The JV West team nearly pulled out a comeback off a long fumble return for a touchdown by Ethan Eggert and a long pass reception and punt return from Michael Fleischmann, but came up short at 20-18.

All West teams participated in honoring National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, some by wearing pink socks and arm bands.
