A trip to Rubia Salon and Spa on Sand Creek Road, a discussion with the stylist, and a new ’do later, a 10-inch lock of Courtney’s hair was on its way to help a suffering person.
Sandy Shaffer reports that after Courtney’s photo was posted on Facebook, a friend’s comment brought tears to her eyes: “The wig that they sent my little sister before she passed gave her a few weeks of freedom from the cancer.”
