To honor cancer survivors, the Relays for Life of Brentwood and Oakley invite all cancer survivors, caregivers, family and friends to a Survivor Ice Cream Social on Sunday, March 25 from 2 to 4 p.m. in Club Los Meganos at Trilogy at The Vineyards, 1700 Trilogy Parkway in Brentwood.

The event features free ice cream, treats, fun activities and a chance to win prizes. Caregivers, family and friends are asked to make a $5 donation. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.

Cancer survivors may pre-register for the Relay For Life of Oakley, scheduled for April 28 and 29 at Freedom High School in Oakley, or for the Relay For Life of Brentwood, scheduled for June 16 and 17 at Liberty High School in Brentwood, where they’ll join in the survivor opening lap at 9 a.m.
