A well-loved man was taken suddenly up to heaven on the afternoon of May 18, 2012. Timothy Jacques Holt of Discovery Bay is survived by the love of his life, Patsy Collins; and his two daughters, Ashley and Amber Collins; as well as one beautiful granddaughter, Madelynn Rose; and his beloved dog, Cha-Chi, whom he considered his son.

He also leaves behind many loving family members and friends in his hometown of Tallahassee, Fla., including parents Don and Beverly Holt; sisters Tere Tucker, Carol Ham and Emily Brown; nieces Amber and Sondra; and nephews Brian, Jason and David.

Tim was a very hardworking journeyman electrician for 25 years, whose life motto was “work hard, play harder.” Besides his family and friends, Tim’s lifelong love has always been the water. His favorite hobbies included boating, water-skiing and enjoying the great company of his many best friends. He loved to travel and was always the life of the party. He will be missed greatly, and his memory will be carried on through the hearts of his loved ones. Until we meet again in heaven, may you rest in peace, Tim.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Discovery Bay Yacht Club, 5871 Marina Road, on Sunday, July 8 at 3p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be received at the life celebration.
