The vivid imagery and contagious charm of Darren Carter’s impersonations, observations and off-the-wall social commentary come to Cap’s Oak Street Bar & Grill, 144 Oak St. in Brentwood, on Friday, June 1 and Saturday, June 2 at 9 p.m.

The Los Angeles-based comedian is a fan favorite at the nation’s most prestigious clubs, including the Laugh Factory, Hollywood Improv, and Comedy & Magic Club. On the live performance front, Carter recently rocked the stage in front of 20,000 fans at L.A.’s prestigious POWER 106 Comedy Jam alongside Katt Williams, Carlos Mencia and Russell Peters.

Hip-hop superstar Snoop Dogg spotted Darren Carter on TV doing his dead-on impersonation of the rapper, which led to performing multiple times at Snoop’s annual family reunion.

After appearing in the summer blockbuster “Be Cool” with John Travolta, Carter continues to make TV appearances on Comedy Central, BET, NBC and E! His voiceover roles include Activision’s top-selling video game, “Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland.”

Carter can be seen chatting it up on “Chelsea Lately” alongside Jay Leno and entertaining on YouTube.
