The girls of Scout Troop 31086 can stand up for themselves better this week, having recently completed requirements for the Self Defense Merit Badge at Black Diamond Karate. The Scouts learned how to deal with bullies, build self-confidence and keep friends nearby for safety. Groups interested in similar classes should e-mail Sensei Cory Hefner at cory@bdgym.com.
