Why do you think his focus is on alternative energy? Maybe because of his past employment with wind energy companies? Hah! You clearly have no real conception of "alternative energy" and the farce that it is. Currently, wind energy accounts for less than 1% of the total energy in the USA. If it was truly feasable, it would have been done by now. If you take away the government subsidies for other forms of "alternative energy", like solar, then it no longer is cost effective to produce energy that way.

McNerny is merely Pelosi's lap dog. If he's so great for our fighting service members, then why hasn't he lobbied on the floor for the end of the war in Afghanistan and labored to bring home our troops? He rode in on the "Hope and Change" bandwagon, and has done nothing of any real consequence since.

I think it is time for a change. He has voted for some damaging (to Americans and Californians) legislation like NDAA, Obamacare - just to name a few. He needs to go. I don't even know who's running against him but HE needs to go!
