Dinner to honor top Antioch teachers

The Antioch Schools Education Foundation hosts its fourth annual Mary Allan Fellows Awards Dinner on Tuesday, Sept. 18 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Lone Tree Golf & Event Center, 4800 Golf Course Road in Antioch.

Sponsorship opportunities include Corporate Sponsors: $1,000.00 (Seating for 6) Friend of Education: $750.00 (Seating for 4) Patron: $500 (seating for 2) Individual Seating: $45.00

Flyers for the event are available on the Antioch Unified School District home page or at the Antioch Chamber of Commerce office, 101 H St., Suite 4.

In addition to the Mary Allan Fellows Award winners, this year’s Antioch Teacher of the Year, Stacy Wickware, and teacher of the year runner-up, Crystal Berry, will be honored at the dinner. Mary Allan, for whom the awards are named, received the California Teacher of the Year award in 2001. The winners receive $1,000 to be used in their classrooms, plus $250 for their personal use.
