WHAT:

She made a difference in your life; now it’s time to make a difference with her. Join mom to help make a difference for other women who need a little extra help this year.

Somersville Towne Center is hosting Get Together & Give to bring together mother and daughter pairs, and women with their friends, to assemble 300 “care kits” for four non-profit organizations that include ANKA Emergency Shelter and Homeless Services, Preschool to Preschool & Community Council, Stand Against Domestic Violence, and Salvation Army.

Although there is no charge for participating in the event, in addition to donating their time, volunteers are asked to bring a new washcloth to add to the other essential everyday items donated by center retailers to create the care kits.

The nonprofit organizations will in turn deliver these packages to the women they serve to help brighten their Mother’s Day.

While doing good, participants will have a good time with a wide range of fun events planned including:

• Free beverages and appetizers

• Free Tote Bags to the first 100 women to RSVP

• Free cosmetic giveaways from make-up counters

• And more!
