April 17, 9:33 a.m. An unidentified person stole a candy vending machine from a business on Brentwood Boulevard.

April 17, 9:39 a.m. A subject violated a restraining order on several occasions by making harassing phone calls to a resident of Montecito Drive.

April 17, 11:31 p.m. On Minnesota Avenue, an unidentified person attempting a robbery demanded that his victims empty their pockets. They fled the scene on foot before giving the subject anything.

April 18, 8:03 a.m. An unidentified person discarded a 40-gallon water heater on the front lawn of a residence on Greenyard Court.

April 18, 5:10 p.m. On Highway 4 at Newport Drive, a subject responsible for a hit-and-run incident was detained by an off-duty officer until the California Highway Patrol arrived.

April 18, 11:01 p.m. On Lone Tree Way at the Highway 4 Bypass, a subject stopped for a vehicle code violation was found to be under the influence of marijuana. He was arrested and released on a Promise To Appear.

April 19, 2:15 a.m. At the intersection of Balfour Road and Walnut Boulevard, a driver who ran the stoplight and broadsided another vehicle sustained major injuries. He was life-flighted to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.

April 19, 6:35 p.m. At a business on Lone Tree Way, an unidentified person stole two shirts and a pair of pants.

April 19, 9:08 p.m. On Balfour Road, a subject was found to be too intoxicated to care for herself. She was arrested and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility. En route, she sustained head injuries attempting to kick out the police vehicle’s rear window. She was transported to the Kaiser medical facility in Antioch and released on a Promise To Appear.

April 20, 11 a.m. An unidentified person stole a garden statue from the front porch of a residence on Walnut Boulevard.

April 20, 11:41 a.m. On Fairview Avenue at Empress Lane, a subject suffered a seizure while driving and struck a tree and was transported to the John Muir Medical Center. The owner of the tree was notified.

April 20, 1:09 p.m. A subject entered a place of work on Sand Creek Road in violation of a domestic court order.

April 21, 9:48 a.m. At a business on Balfour Road, an unidentified person attempted to pass a forged prescription.
